The
Preschool and Kindergarten is open from 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.,
Monday through Friday during the school year. St. Mark's follows
Tucson Unified School District's calendar for the school year,
including vacations and holidays. |
Children are grouped in classes on the basis of age and
developmental level. Staff-child ratios are limited to ensure program quality.
Morning Program
Early Morning Care: Child care is provided
starting at 7:15 a.m.
Morning Preschool Class: The morning
program runs from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Children may be enrolled for 3, 4, or 5 mornings per
week.
Kindergarten Class:
Children in Kindergarten must attend 5 days per week. Children may
attend the morning program which runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The
Morning program plus lunch is from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Full day is
from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and those children needing additional care
beyond the Kindergarten program may attend the Extended day program
which is available until 5:45 p.m.
Extended
Day
Program
Children in the morning program may be enrolled
for all or part of the extended day program.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Children staying for lunch need to
bring their own lunch and drink.
Extended Day Program: 11:30 a.m. to
5:45 p.m. Children in this option will have lunch, a rest period, and an afternoon activity
period including a snack.

Preschool Program
Afternoon Preschool Program:
12:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Children
enrolled in afternoon preschool may arrive as early as 11:30 for lunch
and play before class. They may also join our extended day program after
